Accolade Photography has been established for over 20 years. During this time we have provided photographic services for all manner of publications.

This website aims to illustrate our photographic talents, along with an insight to how we can help you with your future photographic needs.

Being familiar in working with 10x8, 8x6, 5x4, 6x17, 6x9, 6x7, 6x6, 6x4.5 and 35mm format film equipment......... In 1998 to cries of '..it will never catch on..' we were the first company in Europe to install the 'Carnival 2020' colour digital studio system (serial ref: 00008, after pre-production test models) and have lead the field since then with new and innovative products.

Where we took the lead - eventually others followed. Now it is the norm for photography to be delivered digitally.

In the same way that we pioneered digital photography over 6 years ago we now have even more to offer...

During 2002, realising that everyone referred to us as 'the official photographer' (after either 'David Bailey' or Patrick Litchfield') and that no matter where we operated it was the norm to refer to the guy with the responsibilty and the camera to be called the 'Official Photographer'. Not falling shy of the responsibillity we registered the domain name acknowledging our clients respect and have developed it to provide a useful online resource.

Partly as a reaction - but mostly as a pro-active venture 'Official Photographer' is evolving to meet the ever changing needs of commerce and industry. Still the skill and knowledge to create the eyecatching imagery you see on this site is highly important, but so too is to keep abreast of the changing requirements that business, your clients, and their customer demands.

In responding to those demands we now command our own servers and can provide a service combining state of the art photography with electronic delivery. This can include keeping clients archives in a secure online resource ready to browse and order reprints from any part of the world - to the ability to provide your customers or employees with free photographs from your recent event for sharing, improving communication and subsequently improving customer loyalty.* ..and much more in between.

Controlling an unfamiliar environment in terms of lighting, people, permissions and compromise then still come away with the right shot is a skill which has been aquired. Under adverse conditions we always manage to give the extra that is always required.

From being detained at customs (It happens !!) to supervising lighting engineers, to being hoisted 14 storeys high on the country's highest mobile platform to create 360-degree panoramas, there's not much we haven't done.
